Abstract: Addressing global warming is urgent, and agricultural photovoltaic (PV) can effectively contribute to this mitigation. Currently, numerous challenges persist with agricultural PV systems globally. Previous research has often lacked detailed analyses of the integration of agricultural production and PV power generation, alongside the environmental impacts and comprehensive benefits of these projects. This study develops an economic evaluation model to analyse the economic benefits and environmental impacts of agricultural PV projects within the framework of the carbon trading market. Recommendations are proposed to enhance the agricultural power balance of the project and optimise its comprehensive benefits.

Keywords: agricultural photovoltaic; carbon trading; economic benefits; environmental benefits; life cycle costs.
