Abstract: In large-scale areas, the mobile network has adopted a new approach called mobile crowd sensing (MCS). The task creator and contributor have faced challenges regarding privacy constantly over other contributors. In order to enhance privacy preserving among the contributors, this paper aims to develop an adaptive elliptical curve cryptography with additive homomorphic encryption (AECCAHE) for preserving the privacy of the user's location information. Here, the optimisation of the developed AECCAHE takes place using the hybrid ladybug beetle class topper optimisation (HLBCTO) for handling the different location transmission of the users and synchronisation of the contributors involved in the task in an efficient way. The result analysis of the designed model achieves 1.9%, 0.6%, 0.01%, and 0.9% enhanced performance than DHOA, HHO, LBOA, and CTO regarding mean. The experimental analysis is performed for verifying the effective privacy preservation of the developed encryption technique by comparing it with conventional algorithms.
