Abstract: Agriculture Supply Chain 4.0 (ASC 4.0), a complex web of functions, demands exploratory research to enumerate the risks faced by interlinking them with theory and practice. The domain warrants a new perspective on managing ASC risks and quality production of perishable commodities. The study aims to understand the application of ASC 4.0 in perishable commodities and derive the building blocks for quality valorisation of perishable commodities that occur through ASC 4.0 in emerging economies. The study is based on the inductive approach followed by three phases, namely identification of the problem, case study analysis, and findings and framework development based on the insights from the case study. The findings and deliberations led to the developing framework for managing the quality valorisation of perishable commodities through ASC 4.0. The study will help to understand the valorisation of perishable commodities.
