Abstract: Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is an effective solution for improving, radically, the performance of organisations. Although a methodology in the BPR effort should be considered because of its risky and complicated nature. A comprehensive methodology has not been introduced. This research investigates almost 40 academic papers addresses a solution for BPR implementation. To form a comprehensive BPR methodology, BPR critical factors are extracted and then, aggregated into six structural elements. The result proposes a unified structure for BPR methodologies that increases the comprehensiveness and effectiveness. For more reliability, 23 solutions are investigated to explore their emphasis on each element.
