Abstract: To decrease the costs of developing web-based mathematical learning and presentation materials, we have developed a system – the e-Math Interaction Agent – that automatically generates such materials using Semantic Web technologies, such as XML and XSLT. Given the necessary mathematical problem definition data, the system can automate the target presentation materials. Another system feature is that the calculated resultant values and expressions are incorporated into XML files using a mathematical symbolic processor, so the target presentation materials can be automatically automated and revised without programming. Our automation system can assist many mathematics teachers and business persons who need to develop and use presentation materials with many mathematical expressions and graphs because the mathematical software and XSLT functions can perform tedious routine work after a solution plan is defined.
