Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to identify the salient considerations in a relocation analysis of the automobile industry, specifically as it relates to a move into India. Using Michael Porter|s five forces competitive model, the environment and forces within the industry will be analysed to give insight as to the opportunities and challenges of entering the auto industry in India.
