Abstract: The research reported in this article was carried out to identify the constructs and indicators for enhancing the organisational performance in the supply chain environment prevailing in an Indian society. A questionnaire validated in the American environment was adopted to test empirically the impact of information quality on organisational performance in the supply chain environment. The data gathered from the Indian society were used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire in the Indian society being considered. Subsequently, the hypothesis test was conducted. The results indicated the acceptance of the hypothesis that there is an impact on information quality on organisational performance in the supply chain environment prevailing in the Indian society.
