Abstract: The quality of Japanese cars in terms of anticorrosion properties has improved over the past several years with the expansion of exports. Various tests are conducted on chemical conversion coating, the fundamental method of anticorrosion for painted car bodies. The test results show that dipping treatment has a remarkable effect. An outline of tests and our opinions are discussed in this paper.
