Title: New corrosion inhibitors of cobalt for water-soluble cutting fluids

Abstract: A variety of compounds were screened for corrosion inhibitor of cobalt in water-soluble cutting fluids. We have found that benzotriazole, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and 2-mercaptothiazoline showed effective corrosion inhibiting property for cobalt in water-soluble cutting fluids.
