Abstract: A good task allocation for the supply chain in networked manufacturing, with the characteristics of distributed structure, multi-plant and multi-stage, is able to improve the management efficiency, decrease the operation cost and enhance customer satisfaction. Through analysing issues on the decision-making of the scheduling optimisation for the supply chain, a mathematic model is presented. Based on the established model, an improved artificial fish-swarm algorithm is proposed to solve the scheduling optimisation problem. An example is then presented to demonstrate the whole scheduling optimisation process and the result shows the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling optimisation approach.
