Abstract: The objectives of the study were to examine the level and the determinant factors of Teacher Change Beliefs (TCB). A total of 936 teachers from 47 High Performing Secondary School (HPSS) completed the survey. The findings revealed that teachers of HPSS scored high in TCB. The highest scores were observed in Discrepancy, followed by Principal Support and Efficacy. At the individual teacher-level, except gender, TCB was not reliably related to age, academic qualification, year of service in present job and school. At the school-level, TCB was reliably related to the level of Principal Change Leadership Competencies and location of HPSS.
