Abstract: This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability analysis of the one-dimensional and two-dimensional convection-diffusion equations with time delay. Some sufficient and necessary conditions for the asymptotical stability of the equations are proposed. These results lay the foundation for the numerical stability analysis of such kinds of equations.
