Submissions checklist

Please ensure that all requirements on the following checklist have been met before submitting your article.

1. Previous submission or publication:

  • Articles must not be currently before another journal for consideration.
  • If your article was previously submitted to another journal, formal written evidence of the rejection or withdrawal of the article from the original place of submission is required.
  • Articles must not be previously published in English.
  • Previous publication in another language must be disclosed in the "Notes for the Editor" field when submitting.
  • If your article is based on a conference paper, the requirements in Author Guidelines - Preparing articles must be met.
  • We acknowledge that authors may have previously uploaded a version of their paper to a preprint institutional repository or subject repository. A preprint, also known as the Author's Original Manuscript (AOM), is the version of your article before you have submitted it to a journal for peer review. We do not consider posting on a preprint server to be duplicate publication. For Inderscience's purposes, preprint institutional repositories and/or subject repositories are defined as non-commercial or not-for-profit digital archives of research output which make content available as Open Access under a CC-BY licence. Some examples of such repositories are: ArXiv, ora.ox.ac.uk and Research Square. We would generally class as acceptable any repository listed in this Wikipedia list of preprint repositories. If your paper is accepted for publication, we ask that you acknowledge this in your preprint listing by adding the full journal citation, together with a link to the journal webpage and/or DOI as soon as they are available.
  • Any exceptional circumstances should be disclosed in the "Notes for the Editor" field when submitting.

3. File type:

Check all affiliations and contact details are correct.

5. Experts' details:

You have identified four experts (names, full addresses and expertise) in the subject of your article, as specified in our Author Guidelines.
