International Journal of Diplomacy and Economy
Special Issue on: "The Future of the Eurozone"
Editor:
Prof. Gorazd Justinek, New University, Slovenia
This special issue aims to analyse possible future developments in the European Union, especially in the European Monetary Union (EMU). What will be the future developments of the Euro as a currency, and what will its relations be towards the USD, and particularly the financial development in Asia? How are relations developing among Eurozone member states in regard to cooperation in the IMF, and what are the differences among them on the “North-South line”. What about the enlargement of the Eurozone, or even the possible disintegration of it? How is economic diplomacy – or should we say (Bayne and Woolcock) financial diplomacy – supporting the EMU?
All this and more forms the focus of our research in regard to future developments of the Eurozone. Scientific papers as well policy and expert papers are welcome due to the nature of the subject.
Subject CoverageSuitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Future developments of the European Union
- Future developments of the European Monetary Union
- Future of the Euro
- Euro, USD and Yuan
- Eurozone and IMF cooperation
- Financial diplomacy and the Eurozone
