Abstract/Summary: This paper deals with a new software system enabling communication between several information systems (IS) in the context of OEMs/suppliers collaboration, throughout a specific business network. The diversity of PLM systems to connect due to the diversity of OEMs and suppliers, the suppliers' level of integration in each OEM's project, the kind of collaboration between suppliers and the management, at the same time, of different levels of services are some unusual difficulties encountered in this work. To address these issues, a PLM architecture and its technical solutions are proposed, managing several levels of IS communication. The concept of partners' trust level is introduced to manage the data sharing and functionality access rules according to the collaborative context.
