Abstract/Summary: In aeronautical sector, the problem of exchanging product data between PLM systems is a key issue for reducing costs during the collaborative development of airplanes. We will study this problem through the R&D project ISTA3, sponsored by the Aerospace Valley, and that aims at developing methodologies and prototypes for PLM interoperability. For doing so we need to study the business processes of the collaborating partners. The intended solutions will be based on a MDI approach that allows modeling organizational, business and decisional processes as well as information system, then defines successive transformations to generate specifications of implemented applications. The final objective is to implement 'interoperable services utilities' based on SOA architecture and ontology techniques.
