Abstract/Summary: Product design (CAD/CAE/CAM) is one of major areas in PLM research. This paper presents a method for trust and security collaborative design environment. According to proposed approach, CAD model data are exchanged among different CAD users who are trusted with each other. The approach is an effective method for data exchange in collaborative design. The method can resolve several security problems, in which co-designers are not reliable and CAD applications terminals are not integrated. Therefore, the design tasks can progress smoothly and the design data of the organizations can be protected from the view of trust management.
