About the Authors |
Abdelrazig Elbashir Graduated from the University of Khartoum, Sudan (BSc and MSc) and obtained his MA and PhD from Michigan State University, USA. He joint the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as Agricultural Economist, Planning Department (1970–1974), Undersecretary (1998–2001) and currently Advisor to the Minister (since 2001). Abdelrazig’s previous employment includes Director General – Planning & International Cooperation (1996–1998); Director General, Investment Bureau, Ministry of Finance (1989–1990); Agricultural Economist, FAO Project, Agricultural Research Corporation, Yemen (1985–1987). Adam Elhag Ahmed Graduated from the University of Khartoum, Sudan (BSc and MSc) and obtained his PhD from the Institute of Agricultural and Food Systems Management, University of Giessen, Germany. As an Agricultural Economist, Adam joint the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum in 1990 as a teaching assistant and currently Assistant Professor. His areas of interest include farm management/production economic, Poverty and food security issues and Projects analysis. Allam Ahmed Allam holds a PhD in Technology Transfer with backgrounds in Agriculture, Economics, Marketing, Strategy and International Business/Management. He is a Full Member and Chartered Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He is currently the Director of MSc International Management, University of Sussex (UK) and has substantial experience in research and teaching in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Allam is editor and author of more than 100 refereed texts and articles in a number of international journals and books. He is founding editor of the World Review of Science, Technology and Sustainable Development (WRSTSD), and serves on the editorial board of five international journals. Allam is the Founding President of World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) and Expert Advisor to the European Commission on International Scientific Cooperation and the United Nations. |
