Objectives

The objective of IJECSA is to establish an effective channel of communication between academic and research institutions, policy makers and stakeholders concerned with the complex challenges associated with the continued and future success and sustainability of global food and agricultural systems. It also aims to promote and coordinate developments in the fields of precision agriculture, smart farming, sustainable intensification and agricultural resources. The global dimension of these fields is emphasised in order to elucidate the regional and national challenges for agriculture, and to illuminate the interdisciplinary nexus of agriculture, computing, informatics and communication technologies.

Readership

IJECSA provides a vehicle to foster the exchange of current information among academics, researchers, policy makers and professional practitioners working in the field of agriculture and integrating emerging advances in information, communication and computing technologies, so that they can disseminate timely and actionable information and learn from each other’s work.

Contents

IJECSA publishes comprehensive, relevant and reliable information based on current research and development in the form of original papers, review articles, technical reports, case studies, short communications and book reviews. Special issues devoted to timely and important topics at the confluence of sustainable agriculture and emerging computing and computational sciences will occasionally be published.
