Special Issue on: "Sovereign Credit Risk and the European Financial Crisis"

We invite authors to submit high-quality research papers on all aspects of sovereign credit risk and the European financial crisis.
The focus of this special issue is on empirical research examining the government bond market in Europe. However, theoretical papers will also be considered.
The audience of the special issue is the finance community – both academics and practitioners (more specifically, researchers in universities and other academic institutions, policy makers in central banks and other government institutions, and practitioners working in financial institutions).
Subject CoverageSuitable topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sovereign credit risk
- European financial crisis
- Financial risk management
- Interest rate convergence
- Credit default swaps
- Rating agencies and the government debt crisis in Europe
- Monetary policy and government bond yields
Notes for Prospective Authors
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).
All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
