International Journal of Information and Communication Technology
Special Issue on: "Cloud Computing and Data Centre Security"
Guest Editors:
Prof. Fatos Xhafa, Technical University of Catalonia, Spain
Prof. Jin Li, Guangzhou University, China
Many emerging computing technologies have been proposed and researched recently, including cloud computing, green computing and mobile computing, etc. These new computing technologies could be applied to cope with big data applications and have been found to be critical applications in information systems. With the advent of cloud computing, more and more sensitive information is moving from local storage to public cloud servers.
Therefore, there is a growing demand to manage, control and protect the security of cloud computing and data centres. This special issue aims to bring together researchers to exchange state-of-art research results in advances in cloud computing and data centre security.
This issue will concentrate on both theoretical aspects and practical applications, including new computing cloud technologies and information security methods.
The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the 9th International Conference on P2P, Parallel, Grid, Cloud and Internet Computing (3PGCIC 2014), but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.
Subject CoverageSuitable topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Access control
- Secure authentication
- Secure cloud storage techniques
- Deduplication in data centres
- Secure mobile cloud techniques
- Secure virtualisation
- Secure outsourcing techniques
- Hybrid cloud security
- Secure mobile computing technologies
- Cryptographic techniques for secure cloud
- Remote data integrity auditing
