In recent years cloud has been the foundation of computing, storage and networking for modern applications, whether it’s private, public or hybrid cloud. Big data analysis is more accessible than before because of the maturity of cloud technologies. Data science is solving problems with higher computing performance and better precision thanks to the emergence of machine learning libraries on big data platforms. The special issue aims to collect state of the art research results on cloud, big data and data science related areas.

Subject Coverage
Suitable topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Advance of virtualisation technology
• Performance modelling, scheduling and optimisation of cloud data centres
• Hybrid cloud
• Security, privacy, governance in cloud

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).

All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
