In recent trends, the processing of large volumes and the variety of data requires high-performance analytics, which has introduced a new technique called big data analytics. This technique can analyse large volumes of data and isolates the valuable information immediately from big data. This methodology is not effectively possible in traditional methods.
These types of huge data sets are formerly examined and managed using ad-hoc network based approaches. This results in a complex environment which makes the data mining itself a difficult task. To solve this issue on data mining, fuzzy sets and fuzzy logics are introduced. Hence modelling with this fuzzy logic enables simple and flexible infrastructure to solve complex issues. In this context of solving big data problems, fuzzy modelling is utilised to overcome various big data issues by classifying and clustering data, discovering various subgroups in data etc. This advanced technique leads to achieve a greater advantage in trending approaches.
This special issue welcomes original and unpublished research papers that exhibit state-of-the-art on fuzzy based modelling for big data analytics. Additionally, it can also explain about the fuzzy based algorithms which can be utilised for information extraction available from big data information.
