Abstract: The Similar Source Method (SSM) has been developed to describe interior and exterior sound fields. In this study, a new method for revising phase in the scanning measurement of acoustical holography is developed by using wavelet transform to filter out the noise first. Then, a cross-correlation function is used to calculate the delay time of signals for each signal. Furthermore, the delay time is used to revise the phase of the signal. Finally, a modified version of the SSM is developed to describe the sound pressure distribution in a planar surface. Simulation is shown to verify this approach in this study.
