Abstract: This paper deals with a service facility, which has front and back room operations. In the front room, the servers deals with serving customers, perhaps from a queue and those in the back room perform a job, which is generated by the front room. In service facilities, two major issues have been considered. A constraint programming model is used to solve queue control problem. A customer on arrival finds other customers in the front room, may join the queue or may leave service facility. After completing the front room service if the customer is unsatisfied with the service, he may rejoin for service again until the service is completed successfully. The goal is to determine the expected waiting time in the queue subject to back room constraints. The effects of various parameters on the performance measures are analysed numerically.
