Abstract: Objective: The thesis studies the antibacterial properties of cyanoacrylate antibacterial adhesive modified by 6% nano-silica. Method: The paper used the filter paper method to test the bacteriostatic performance of 6% nano-silica/antibacterial glue against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC29213). The unmodified antibacterial glue was used as a control to measure the diameter of the inhibition zone. The rat trauma animal model was made, and the wound was treated with 6% nano-silica antibacterial glue and gauze. The general condition of the wound was observed, and the arterial blood routine and the pathological section of the wound tissue were performed to detect the white blood cell count. Results: The diameter of the inhibition zone on the 5th day of the 6% nano-silica/antibacterial glue group was (28.61 ± 0.91) mm, and that of the antibacterial glue group was (28.24 ± 2.69) mm. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). In animal experiments, in blood routine and wound tissue pathological sections, the infection of the wound treated with 6% nano-silica/antibacterial glue was lower than that of the gauze dressing group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The antibacterial glue modified by 6% nano-silica has better antibacterial properties (anti-Staphylococcus aureus).
