Abstract: In the last decade, the number of students owning smartphones is rising very rapidly. Therefore, this subject is new and attractive to researchers, which are trying to explain the impact of using smartphones in the school environment. The aim of our study is to offer statistical data about using smartphones in the Moroccan neglected countryside. By using the interview method, we obtained the different student's usage of smartphone. We have found that the most usage of smartphones is in social web, internet and music. On the contrary, the phone is used for education finalities by a few number of students.
