Abstract: In the past few decades, advances in science and technology have resulted in a radical transformation in the entire banking sector. The biggest changes have been noticed majorly after the implementation of electronic banking in the banking sector. The benefits of e-banking have not been limited to enhancing banks' performance or increase in customer satisfaction, but e-banking has positively benefitted the employees working in the banking sector as well. The present research measures the impact of electronic banking on the organisational commitment level of the employees of the banking sector in Delhi, India. A total of 500 samples (including both public and private sector bank employees) were collected to study the effect of e-banking on the organisation commitment level of bank employees with the mediating role of job satisfaction. The data were obtained from respondents on the 9-point Likert scale using a survey questionnaire. For this research, the data were analysed via structural equation modelling (SEM). It was found that electronic banking has a considerable impact on organisational commitment (β = 0.832, P < 0.05) and job satisfaction successfully mediates the relationship between e-banking and organisation commitment.
