Abstract: [Purpose/Significance]: This paper introduces the time factor to describe the changes of the academic influence of journals, accurately reflect the academic influence of journals in different periods, and eliminate the different influence of publishing time and subordinate disciplines on the academic evaluation of journals. [Method/Process]: Design the dynamic evaluation index TDJI for journals. Take the dynamic development level of global papers as the benchmark, revise the dynamic change trend of academic influence of journals. Then, the number of citations of journals at different time nodes is given different weight coefficients to accurately reveal and describe the development trend of academic influence of journals. [Results/Conclusion]: The empirical results show that TDJI is highly related to the number of citations, influencing factors and standardised evaluation indicators of each paper, which can eliminate the differences in citations caused by different disciplines and highlight the recent performance of journals.
