Abstract: In this paper, we report the fabrication of ZnO nanorods using vapour phase transportation. The morphology of ZnO nanorods is characterised using scanning electron microscope. The optical properties of the nanorods are studied using time-integrated photoluminescence and time-resolved photoluminescence. It is found that the exciton radiative lifetime increases with temperature. The mechanism for the increase of exciton radiative lifetime with temperature is discussed.
