Abstract: Aiming at the problems of traditional visual enhancement methods for art works, such as large error of image visual high-frequency feature decomposition, poor brightness enhancement effect and long enhancement time, a visual enhancement method for art works based on wavelet packet decomposition is proposed. First, determine the receptive field of human visual system, then collect the image brightness information through the human visual receptive field, extract the visual information of art works image with Fechner's logarithm law, finally decompose and reconstruct the high-frequency features of visual information with wavelet packets, and construct an image enhancement model through LIP model to obtain the enhancement results. The experimental results show that the proposed method can reduce the image VHF feature decomposition error, and the enhancement effect is good, and the enhancement time is short.
