Abstract: Organisations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, private and public alike, are continually witnessing programmes of change. Considering the fact that successful change effort depends, in part, on the employees' behaviour, this study was prompted to examine two of the possible factors, organisational commitment and Islamic work ethics (IWEs), which can influence attitudes towards organisational change of Saudi employees. A sample of 220 employees from different organisations in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is used. The results of correlation analysis found that both organisational commitment and IWEs have positive influence on the Saudi employees' attitudes towards organisational change. The implications of these findings, among others, are discussed. Implications and limitations are highlighted.
