Sustainable supply networks – II: frameworks at the company level and field studies
by Jonathan Daniel Berke, Ahmet Satir
International Journal of Sustainable Strategic Management (IJSSM), Vol. 2, No. 4, 2010

Abstract: In line with the values and characteristics argued in Berke and Satir (2011), two frameworks are developed at company level in this sequel article: one for legacy supply chains and the other for future supply networks. A survey is designed and conducted to assess the level of contribution each characteristic makes in transforming a company from a not sustainable legacy stage to a future sustainable stage. Findings of the survey are discussed in terms of metrics used and outcomes. General and specific insights obtained from the survey are presented.
