Abstract: For dual-rate sample system with different output sampling and input updating a model-based inferential control scheme is proposed, the stability robustness in the presence of model-plant mismatch (MPM) is analysed. Comparing such an inferential controller with the corresponding fast single-rate controller, the former is advantageous in stability robustness of the closed-loop system. A robust algorithm with extremely low computational requirements has been led, combining with a global uncertainty description and an uncertainty band-updating procedure. The simulation example shows the efficiency of the algorithms.
