International Journal of Electronic Governance (IJEG), Vol. 5, No. 1, 2012
Abstract: Three items are covered. The 14th number of the European Journal of ePractice addresses the increasing sharing of personal or sometimes private information across social media, commercial services or the government, with or without the individual's consent. The United Nations E-Government Survey 2012, published in February, was prepared 'in a context of multiple challenges of an open, responsive and collaborative government for the people'. Thirdly, inspired by the UK 'Fix my street' project, the Portuguese 'My street' portal encourages participation that allows citizens to manage their street or neighbourhood.
