Abstract: The paper attempts to measure challenges related to business of entrepreneurs in micro enterprise sector. For the methodology, the paper reviews relevant academic literature and primary data collection undertaken for the study and analysis of problems of entrepreneurs in leather shoes, petha sweet and silver ornaments clusters in western Uttar Pradesh of India. Review and data analysis validates and advocates focused efforts to improve the present status of entrepreneurs in micro enterprise sector. The present study is based on primary data collected from western Uttar Pradesh region and specifies the problems of three clusters, i.e. leather shoe, petha and silver ornaments.
