Abstract: The authors are concerned with the bounded consensus tracking problems of leader-following multi-agent systems with sampling delay for double-integrator dynamics. Based on the delay decomposition approach, the augmented matrix method and some other technologies, the necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained which guarantee that each agent can track the time-varying reference state of the virtual leader. Some numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
