Abstract: We present the analysis of a radar target positioning technique in both Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) environments. A Time-Difference-of-Arrival (TDOA) method is investigated to find the target position and its positioning accuracy in terms of the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB). Explicit analytical results are derived under both the only LOS condition and the mixed LOS and NLOS condition. Numerical examples are provided for further quantitative evaluation.
