Abstract: Impact of receiving dipole antenna on shielding effectiveness of metallic enclosure is numerically considered in this paper. Transmission line matrix (TLM) method enhanced with compact wire model is used to efficiently describe the dipole antenna presence and its coupling with electromagnetic field inside enclosure. By using the presented numerical model, influence of receiving antenna on enclosure shielding effectiveness is demonstrated on several examples through comparison with the numerical and analytical approaches in which the antenna presence is neglected.
