Abstract: A modular, multichannel general purpose computer system for data acquisition and analysis has been designed. Extensive software for acquisition and analysis in the form of a high-level language has been developed. Several systems have been installed with custom-tailored software, among them a system for four-wheel excitation of cars simulating road roughness.
