Abstract: The central part of this work addresses how new technologies concentrated in a learning platform empower curriculum design and its execution; promote the implementation of different pedagogies; and permit to experience curriculum implementation and completion in a constructive mode. By conducting a survey, and observations for assessments of the target platforms, and by using questionnaires and rubrics, data was collected in order to evaluate the success of the platforms in terms of quality curriculum design and execution; diversity of approaches to teaching and learning; value of the learning experiences; resourcefulness to evaluate appropriate fulfilment of a programme; and coverage of the standards and practices dictated in the school methodology.
